Logitech G HUB is the control panel Logitech ships for its G branded gaming peripherals. It detects the connected hardware and gives each device its own settings screen, replacing the older Logitech Gaming Software for newer gear. The app is not a general purpose Windows utility: without a supported Logitech G mouse, keyboard, headset, wheel or webcam attached, there is nothing for it to configure.

Typical work done in the app includes remapping buttons and keys, recording and editing macros, setting pointer sensitivity levels, adjusting LIGHTSYNC lighting effects and synchronising them across several devices, and tuning headset equaliser and microphone settings. Settings can be grouped into profiles that are bound to individual games and switch over when that game launches. Many devices also have onboard memory, so a configuration can be written to the hardware and then used on a machine where the app is not installed. Logitech has been extending the app beyond device settings as well, with a games library view that collects titles from several stores and ties each one to its profile and gear settings.

The audience is straightforward: people who already own Logitech G hardware and want more than the defaults out of it. Anyone with a non gaming Logitech device such as an MX mouse or a Master series keyboard is pointed by Logitech to its other customisation app instead, and the two are not interchangeable. The app runs a background component so profiles can switch on their own, which is worth knowing for anyone who keeps startup items to a minimum; users who only need a fixed configuration can set it up once, store it in onboard memory and leave the app out of the way.
